The things we do for our kids....

My DD has decided she will only feed when we lie down together - and today was a lesson in fore-thought - every day I go for a walk in the huge park with my mum and her dog and normally feed dd before we go out - but we were disrupted today by having a drink with friends, and so DD decided half way across a huge field she was hungry. So, in the end, see me lying under and oak tree on my coat in a pile of leaves with my furry wrap as a pillow, back against a fallen tree trunk, looking up at the blue sky with frost on the grass around me as DD feeds away happily. Thank god no passing poachers found me! Oh, how wilderness, I mused, picking leaves out of my purple plaits, and I don't even consider myself that much of a hippy!
So - please add your stories of breast feeding bizzare-ness!

Nowhere near as bizarre but I recently fed DS at the Sea Life Centre infront of a huge tank of sharks and rays. Was very relaxing. Don't know if it counts as extreme feeding! Maybe if I'd been wearing a nursing wetsuit and got in there

Hope you didn't get too cold though

I tandem-fed twins and for a while they each had their own boob. When they were still quite little, I fed them in the dark in the middle of the night and got them the wrong way round, and they both turned outwards to try to latch on. It was so funny, I never realised they knew where the breast was before that!!
