how much expressed milk in hours?

Im working and away from my 9 week old baby from 8am - 4pm. How much expressed milk should ds be taking in this 8 hours? yesterday he took 440ml
I fed him right before 8 and right at 4.

At 16 weeks, DS needed 360ml per day between 8 and 5 (last feed 3 ish normally), and somedays more than that. So 440ml doesn't sound outrageous

It says that the baby's need to suck for comfort may increase when mum is away which might explain why he took in so much of the EBM that you left for him.
