am tring to make my toddler group more breastfeeding friendly - having had a lady confess that she expresses because she doesn't feel comfortable breastfeeding there. I was horrified so am trying to do some small things to suggest it is a breastfeeding friendly group.

Not sure about the doll tbh.
Has anything specific been said or done? Are there many bfers in the group?
I just fed anywhere and everywhere and encouraged others to do so.
Can you put up one of the 'breastfeeding welcome here' posters like some coffeshops have?

No there aren't many BF'ers at the moment there is a flurry of bottle feeders who talk openly about not liking the whole breastfeeding "thing" I didn't know this mum BF's at home or that it was EBM in the bottle

We have 2 ladies who are pregnant at the moment and I want to try to change things a little before their babies are born.

Not sure how to help, but I love the doll! My mum might try and section me though if I got it

What about putting up some of the NHS breastfeeding posters? I'm not sure what you can do really, except maybe have a word with the FFing mothers.

Do you have comfy chairs and breastfeeding pillows?

it is in a church and although chairs are not totally comfy armchair types they are padded cushioned chairs.
will contact HV about posters but want to strike a balance so as not to stick it in the FF ladies faces.
