Formula question.......how much???

My 9 week old ds is being ff with a comfort formula due to digestive trouble and u to last week was having 7-8 feeds per day of 5-6 oz.

Now he has gone to 6 feeds per 24 hours (yay!) but is still only having 6oz....surely he should be having more, not the same amount as he is having fewer feeds in 24 hours????

(He is my second, but never had this issue with ds1 as he had feeding problems)

He has been putting on weight really well, and I dont want this to stop.....sorry for rambling post...any advice appreciated.

I had lots of probs with feeds and my ds. Was told at this age, the tummy's are so small they can't hold more than 6oz at a time.
If your ds is hungry between feeds, he'll let you know. Wouldn't worry unless he starts dropping weight.
They go through a growth spurt at about 6 weeks anyway, so maybe that's why he was having more?
