how much fluid

how much fluid should ds (almost 10 months) need during a day?
he has a good bf at 6am (or later on the 4 days i don't work), approx 3oz cows milk on his breakfast, almost half a carton of ready made formula late afternoon, then a bf at bedtime. He has a few oz's of water over the day - probably 5/6oz max.
is this enough? he just doesn't seem interested but i can't help feeling it's very little.
Am i fretting for no reason? He is fine in himself, happy and mostly his nappies are wet & he poohs ok.

i would not bother with water, but offer the breast or milk of some form if he seems thirsty. he will get liquid from food too... if he is weeing and pooing normally, he is getting enoguh fluid

really, ok.
he seems totally uninterested in milk throughout the day, dropped his mid morning feed about 2 months ago.
keep getting SIL telling me 'my 3 all gave up drinking milk at 10 months, i wouldn't bother offering it he obviously doesn't want it' .
(i ignore this btw!)

OK, this morning he didn't want his first feed from me at all . He latched on but then pulled off & wouldn't go back on.
Have just given him some formula and he's had a little with his breakfast.
Why would he refuse bm do you think??

sorry, this is obviously very boring but if anyone has any ideas they would be appreciated!
he seems to be feeding ok from me again now but is having less & less liquid in between BF's (which, on the days i work can be 13 hours apart).
He doesn't want water or formula but his poos are rock hard & hurting him (sorry!) so i think he does need more liquid.
SIL has suggested very diluted fruit juice but i'm more inclined to try cows milk - any other suggestions?
