Warming expressed milk?

I was wondering what methods people used for warming expressed breast milk once you'd taken it out of the fridge?

Never used a bottle so completely new at this - I'm hoping to start expressing soon though so I can go out occasionally and DH can feed DS, and wonder what's the best way to go about it?

Milk in bottle, bottle in bowl of hot water, for about 4-5 minutes. Test on wrist (DD would only accept expressed milk if it was actually warm, not just 'not cold'). If it's been in the bottle in the fridge, the teat will be cold, so you need to give it a good shake to warm it up. And don't be disheartened by how little you manage to express at first, it does get better if you persevere. If you can manage to express and feed at the same time you'll do better.

Thanks. When you say 'hot water', do you mean like boiled water that's cooled down slightly, or just from the tap? Cos our taps don't get that hot!
