I heard recently(but not sure where) that if there is a family history of excema hayfever or asthma then you should avoid conventional milk and you can get a special one from the chemists.

Does anyone know if
a)i have heard this right
b)do you need a prescription
c)if you have used it

I am asking as bf 1st child and she has no allergies but ff 2nd and he has excema and had asthma when he was a baby. I have all 3

most 'specialist' milks are under drs orders only. i work in a chemist and the only ones i have ever sold is infasoy or wysoy. everyone else gets their milk on prescription

We have a family history of all 3! All my dp. We started dd on SMA Gold but she developed eczema on her face so we changed to Hipp Organic and has been fine since.
