And also if someone can remind me how you 'treat' EBM - am I right in thinking you can leave it out for 4 hours? Can I give it to him at room temp?

I think you can leave it out for 6 hours and room temp is fine....

Are you planning to leave it in the bottle or in bags or whatever for whover is doing it to decant?? At that age I think ds would have maybe 6oz ebm in one sititng and he'd seem quite happy. SOmetimes we gave more but not always.

I find that when ds has had a biggish bottle of ebm it knocks hom out a bit and lasts longer than he would if i'd just fed him (And he is a constant feeder too - none of this 2-3 hours businees, he hasn't read the right chapters in the books lol)

hi there my baby boy is 4 wks and i have been bf him from day 1 at first i had so much milk my breasts were huge and very heavy i couldnt cope so i started expressing,i was getting 4oz out of each breast, now im only getting 1-2 oz?? he feeds every 2-6hrs am sure he cant make his mind up weather to feed 2 hrly or sleep for 6 hrs.
any advice on why im not expressin as much? and is expressing the same as feeding him the more u feed then more milk so if i express an hr after a feed i will have more milk for him.

i really want to keep bf up as with my first i only did it for first few days.
