How long before leaking milk and painful boobs pass?

BF went horribly wrong with DS, and as there is no RL support in this region he is fully FFd now at 1 week old.

but my boobs are still leaking like sieves and painful despite tight bras.

when can i expect it to pass? my nipples are still covered in scabs.

Lots of sympathy (and at least the scabs are not being chomped at anymore! )

Should pass in a few days.
Have you tried putting cold cabbage leaves in your bra? That might help with pain.

Took 10 days for mine to stop completely but I remember they weren't as painful after the first few days. Congrats on your new DS.

How are you doing Expat?

Expat, if your nipples don't start to look better soon can you get your community mw or gp to take a swab? I got infections which needed abs after serious nipple damage. It was the hideous scabbing (boak!) that put the cm on to it.
