How much does your 5 month old drink?

I got the old 'she needs baby rice' from my mum again today!

Dd is 21 weeks and has -

6oz 8am
6oz 10.30am
6oz 1pm
6oz 3pm
7oz 6pm

She then sleeps from 6.30pm to 7.30am. She seems to have got herself into this routine and it works well although planning things is difficult with the short gaps between bottles.

Is this normal? I am trying to hold off until 6 months before I wean.

Hiya my dd is 5 months (22 weeks) she has 5 9 0z bottles a day, every 3 hours ish. she dosent always drink all of it, sometimes only 5 oz for the first two bottles but she usually has the full 9 oz before she goes to bed. In total she has anywhere between 32 and 40 oz.

She seems ok on this and sleeps through about 4 out of 7 nights.

I tried her with the tip of a spoon of baby rice yesterday, she just spat it out (dont blame her!) So plan for us is just to keep on going with the bottles for now.

ps if your baby is content and it seems she is, she is obviously sleeping well, I wouldnt worry. I'm dreading the whole faff of weaning tbh!! (lazy emoticon)

I am not looking forward to weaning either! Bottles are so much easier
