Lilypadz - how often do you wash them?

I have just started using one of these (only one breast leaks). I do not use it during the day (I use washable breast pads) but I use it when in pjamas in the evening and at night so as not to have to wear a bra. It works well, but I am wondering how often I should wash it. Daily? When it loses its stick?

IIRC (was a year ago!) I used to rinse it with water several times a day then give it a bit of a soap at night.

So in your case I would prob say after each use. Doesn't take any time tho' does it- I used to do it while washing my hands...

Washing it takes no time, but leaving it to dry does. Maybe I need a spare one.

didn't you get a pack of two?

I think [delving into memory] that I used to pat it dryish with a muslin (towels leave too many fibres) If it's a bit damp it shouldn't affect the stick.

Ah, well I got a sample pack so it only has one (which is all I need). I haven't been drying it with a towel because of the fibres. A muslin is a good idea though - thanks!

I shake mine dry, which seems to work pretty well. I wear them 24/7 because I leak constantly and usually wash them morning and evening with soap and generally have to rinse the milk off at least once a day too.
