My dd2 has cow's milk allergy and soya allergy. She is 6mo and is BF. She would always take a bottle of EBM or soya formula. Recently I have gone out more and it became apparant that the soya did not agree with her so I have got Cow and Gate Pepti formula on prescription. Only problem is she WILL NOT take it, from anyone. To make matters worse she has now developed an aversion to any bottle even one of EBM.

What can I do?

I think there are different prescription formulas - perhaps she'd prefer one of the other ones. You could try cup feeding for a little while to break the link between the bottle and disgusting tasting formula.

Yes I have been thinking about cup feeding- which would be the best cup? I could never get my other 2 to ever take milk from a cup- certainly not a decent amount anyway.

My HV said they chose this formula cos it was the best of the lot. It tastes and smells like cheesy feet. Although my 2yo dd drank a whole bottle of it without grimacing so it can't be that bad, can it?
