My dd (11 weeks) is comfort feeding. Some (most?) nights by the 3-4am feed I am just so tired that i put her in with me and leave her to it so to speak. IS THIS AWFUL??

take side off cot but use bungees to keep ends of cot together (iyswim) - we did it.

shove cot matress right over to yours and fill gap on the far side with rolled-up towels

My ds is nearly three and still feeds but he does self service too.

Sometimes I wake up in the morning and find that he is latched on. It appears that he comes through from his room, climbs in bed with me and helps himself and I know nothing about it as I sleep through it all!!

Can you shift her cot bottom up?
We had a cheap ikea cot and it was literally two holes that the base rested in so we just made higher holes then cable-tied it together.
