Concern about using plastic bottles and chemicals used?

Read article about using boiling water in plastic bottles can cause small amounts of Bispherial A a hormone disruptor chemical to be released. Needing to change to bottles is anyone else concerned about this????

many countries are concerned about this, in some (Canada) products containing Bisphenol-A have been voluntarily recalled by manufacturers.

The UK position is that there isn't sufficient research to indicate that there is any danger from Bisphenol-A leaching into the body through plastics.

At any rate, there are old threads about this on mumsnet - this was a big story a few months back.

If you must use bottles, there are glass bottles available, or MAM also make bottles that are BPA free.
