How often were you breastfeeding your LO when they turned 1 year old?

Reason I ask is that I am planning to return to work 3 days a week when DD is 1 (well actually probably 11 months) and am planning to keep bf, but ideally not expressing at work.

Would be great to feed her in morning and at night but not sure what to expect at that age. If she is still needing feeds during day then I will have to work out a way to express but just wondering what people's experiences are?

Also, is my supply establsihed enough and clever enough to be able to feed her during the day 4 days a week but not during the day for 3 days (without expressing) or will that just confuse her?

I went back 3 days a week when my DD was 10 mo. Work days she BF early morning, tea time, evening (and night) and non work days she BF whenever she wanted. I expressed until she was 1. She is still BF very frequently at 19 mo even though I've been FT for over 3 months.

I guess I will need to get her used to a cup before she goes to nursery. She has a sippy cup and a doidy cup for water. The water from the doidy cup mostly gets poured down her front. Do you think she would be able to use this at 11 months, or would a sippy cup be easier for the nursery?

Mine uses a Tommee Tippee sippy cup at nursery. At home we use a non-spill Avent cup for milk, which is good as he likes to fling the cups/dangle them upside down over soft furnishings

My 11 month old is at nursery three days a week and has been for a month. She has water at nursery out of a Tommy Tippee cup and no milk, but does have loads of calcium rich foods. I feed her on demand outside nursery and on the other days, and there's been no problem.

At this age, if they are eating well, the hours they go without at nursery are fine. Having said that, I know lots of babies will reverse cycle and start night feeding to compensate. Mine hasnt and she has been fine.

I cant believe am still bf at 11 months.... and that actually it's been easy. Good luck!
