I am still breastfeeding my lo for nearly 7 months now..and since the birth, i've lost loads of weight.. not I fear if I wean my lo, and stop breastfeeding completely.. I will put alot of weight back on.. I read somewhere that breastfeeding burns about 600-1200 calories a day. Any other mums out there that have the same problem?

I am still bf my 3rd baby and have not lost any weight ever through BF so can't help. I think if you have lost weight already you will be fine!

Just eat a bit less as you won't be burning up as many calories. You probably won't feel as hungry anyway.

It's 300 -600 calories I believe (I'm feeding two and not losing a hell of a lot of weight!) But you won't feel as hungry if you aren't feeding. I know when I cut down DDs feeds, when I was pregnant, I felt a lot less hungry and also didn't need to drink continually either.

Once you are not so knackered from feeding you can do more exercise as well
