Can I take ibruprofen whilst bf?

Ds is coming up to 20wks and I suspect I am going to have a period fairly soon. Pre pregnancy I used to get really painful periods ( I found labour less painful ) and a Doctor advised taking 600mg of ibruprofen 3x a day which seemed to work. Obviously now I'm bf I'm not sure what to take? Anyone know or should I just see my Doctor? I'm hoping having a baby may have sorted a few things out but that might be hoping for too much!

Ibuprofen is widely used when bf, Ebb, but you can check with the pharmacist or read this:

toxnet.nlm.nih.gov/cgi-bin/sis/search/f?./temp/~Anv7cS:1

FWIW, my periods were much, much less painful after having babies.

thanks Tiktok. Will check dosage with pharmacist but good to know that I can take it if needed. Hopefully my periods will be less painful like yours.
