I'm tandem feeding and my boobs are now so big they are applying for their own postcode and right to vote!

I'm not a large person generally, having two kids has made me slightly fatter but not so much - I still have a tiny waist (yeah I know I'm a lucky cow but you should see the scars from all the surgery [wink).

With DD my boobs went up to a 34DD and I felt huge - my waist was 25 inches and I looked pneumatic.

Yesterday I went to get measured as I had the 'second pair free' effect due to a too tight bra and they are now 34G

It's a special order FFS - I didn't even know you could get bras that big!

And I'm still making about half a pint extra a day which just dribbles out into breast shells. The SCBU is happy, me, not so much!

I have never figured out why they haven't changed. I don't think they're the only ones either. I know I was being told to add on for a long time (before I learnt better) even though I didn't. I seem to remember magazines giving the add on advice.

I live in sticksville - we only have M&S - it's M&S or SAINSBURYS FFS!

Seriously, for now I need to go with what I have. Also this bra does seem to fit me (proper support, no digging in, no slopping up and down etc). Maybe they have actually got it right.

Oh and where on earth do you get J cups from anyway.

DH says 'is J for Jesus look at the bezungers on mummy!?

Bravissimo!

To be honest I think we're so accustomed to having this +4 or 5 that we don't know what bras are supposed to feel like. You do have the right cup size for you so it will feel right, but the back size is really out and that will cause you problems in the long term.

If you can't get to a Bravissimo shop then order a couple of sizes and see which fits best. They'll take back the extra ones.

The thing with the resizing is that everyone is bigger than they were. People who think they're a A cup are often an E. So don't think of a J as being huge, it's not anymore - just think of it as metric over imperial!

Have just ordered one from bravissimo to try and it turns out they have a store 22 miles from me so I may order the entire family to go on an outing to forrage for lingerie to fit me.

I was fitted at Rigby and Peller before my wedding and it's quite disconcerting when you suddenly find your boobs are actually up quite high and perky but that you can't feel them because they aren't weighing themselves down

Ah, you know the R&P feeling! Wish I did You'll be better of fitting yourself then TBH.

TinkerBellesMum · 03/10/2008 21:54

The wonders of a properly fitting bra! I've gone up a cup a year since I was 18 and the amount of comments I get from female relatives about needing a reduction because of my back is unbelievable. Because I've always been good about being properly fitted (I'm also a fashion designer and used to sell bras so I know how to do it myself) I've never had a problem.

Piffle · 03/10/2008 21:58

she an assholio, then.

Piffle · 03/10/2008 22:17

I shop where bras fit me tink
Very difficult to get good bras in 30 back size let alone HH cup size
Fyi it is a fantasie callie and is £38 from john lewis
No other bra I've tried is as comfy or supportive
But the weight of my breasts (surgeon weighed 4.2kgs of tissue) takes toll on bras and even good bra is worn to death within 6 weeks.

suwoo · 03/10/2008 22:17

That means you are a 30 back then.

suwoo · 03/10/2008 22:19

Ive seen piffles tits and she's seen mine

Piffle · 03/10/2008 22:31

yeah we can vouch!

TinkerBellesMum · 03/10/2008 22:41

I wasn't trying to be funny by the way, I've just never had a problem with spending loads on a bra, having lots of pain or wearing my bras out and I've been E+ since I was about 18/19, I'm now a 34J. I've been a Bravissimo girl for about 6 years and still have some of my earliest bras from them, not that they still fit!

Interesting to know how much yours weigh I think mine must be around a stone in that case which makes me feel a lot better about my weight!

whomovedmychocolate · 04/10/2008 08:22

I'm not weighing mine
