wen is it ok to stop sterilising bottles and just wash them up? also does ne1 no wen its ok to give babies unboiled water? my son is nearly 12 months old

I think it's best to always boil water before making up formula whatever the age of the baby due to the bacteria that can be in the formula.

I think you would probably get away with not sterilising bottles now as your son is nearly 12 months as long as they are well washed. I think I always sterilized bottles for milk though - it just seemed to make them really clean and bottles can get a bit grimy as they have lots of little crevices if you know what i mean.
