breasts feeling softer - do I still have enough milk?

for the past couple of days I've noticed my breasts feeling softer and not as full up as before, and I can't tell by feeling which side it is next as usual. Is this a sign my milk supply is decreasing?
My dd (6.5 mo) has been through a massive growth spurt (lots of night wakings/feeding since about 4 months) which has tailed off recently at last and she has slept through a few nights or only had one feed.
Last couple of nights she has woken twice for feeds (wouldn't settle without) so do you think she is increasing my supply again? Getting worried that my underactive thyroid condition I developed after pregnancy (makes me feel really tired) might be affecting bfing.
thanks for any advice.

Is that a side effect of your condition?

If not, your milk supply will be fine. Baby may be feeding a bit more, but is she contented otherwise?

I found 6months thereabouts is also a bit of a hunger gap. They are starting to eat solids but it is not filling them up yet and milk alone is not satisfying anymore so they feed a bit more as they are hungry.

(How) is she eating?

thanks all

madmouse - not as far as I know - it was just a frightening thought I was having!

She is contented otherwise and eating well on solids (not much yet though). last weigh-in though she had only put on 2 oz over 2 weeks. for her milk feeds she only feeds for 5 mins or so but seems very full then as she just won't take more!
