BF and periods

DD is 4mths, 3 wks. She is mix fed. 2 bottles and the rest BF each day.

When should I get a period again? Will it be when I stop BF or before as I am mix feeding.

The past couple of days, I have had what feel like very mild period pains, I am really bloated and even grumpier than usual

Could be tomorrow. Could be a lot longer.

DD is still BF at nearly 18 months - my first period came when she was 15 months old. I've known other women have theirs come back at 3 months with a fully BF baby and others that haven't seen a sign until they stop completely.

So no help whatsover, really

period came back latest 10 months earliest 10 weeks all whilst totally bf!

Usually it is when the gaps between feeds lengthen. Especially at night.

There's no way of knowing. I was one of the ones who got mine back whilst feeding every couple of hours day and night when dd was very small.
