Are there guidelines about milk quantities for babies over one?

DS is one next week, he's been bf with bottles of formula when I'm at work, but I know from the age of one he doesn't need formula, so I can give him full fat cows milk. Do I give that in a bottle or cup? I know up to one year they should have 18-21 fl oz per day but how much cows milk a day should he have?

12-20oz is recommended after 1 year.

thanks for that, do people usually start off giving cow's milk in a bottle and then gradually move over to cups? DS always falls asleep during his bedtime bottle, and call me lazy but I don't stop him I just put him to bed. I don't want to stop that dead, obviously as he gets older he'll have to find another way of falling asleep, but it seems a bit harsh to say on his first birthday "right, no more bottles!"
