Have I just forgotten ?

My 4 week old DS has been very restless all day, nursing more than normal, so I am assuming this is a growth spurt.

However he has been nursing near constantly for the past 4 hours. Just enough break between nursing sessions for a quick potty/nappy change for him and a toilet break for me.

I don't remember my DD feeding as much as this ever, have I just forgotten how much they feed sometimes ?

I don't think so.. it is totally possible that they have different feeding patterns.

DS1 fed for 5-10 minutes every 2-3 hours from new born - so once we got established I thought it was an easy thing

DS2 took ages ...
it has to be said though 4 weeks is really little still, it will settle down..

you typing one hand?

I used to spent most evenings lying on the bed with the laptop and DS attached when he was tiny - he'd feed constantly from 6 till 10

cmot, I really hope this is not a daily thing.
