no i'm not on commission (i wish!) but i just found this book so helpful. particularly the first couple of chapters on how babies attach instinctively, the cues they use and how to support them in doing it effectively. it really made a difference to positioning for me (ds2 had a tongue tie).

later chapters are mostly about babies with specific problems but the general chapters are great. it's written for health professionals so quite technical in places but really worth the effort. for me the best thing was that it stopped me feeling like it was my fault that ds2 wouldn't attach properly.

expensive, but i got it thru the library

Thanks for that, I'm sure it would have helped me with dc 2.
