I did some market reserch in town yesterday about baby foods and milks .........

And when she said to me what milk did you give to your ds? I said he was bf.
She said ok so after the first few weeks which milk did he have I said he was bf!
She then said so when he was a few months which follow on milk did you put him onto? I said he didn't have formula HE WAS BF! She then just looked at me funny and said oh how strange.

I got that from the HV with my first!

Isn't it more strange to be forking out for formula when you can burn calories supply it yourself

My old hv thought i was really odd to still be bf-ing ds at 10 months!

My current hv thinks it's great but my mw is convinced i'll need to give up or my new baby won't get colostrum!

What company was doing the market research bogie?

I'm not sure what company it was they were asking my oppinion on all brands of baby food, I was just happy because they gave me a £5 high street voucher.

Ooooh where where? (I'm a sucker for High Street vouchers?! )

pmsl. I once got a £5 voucher for a survey on baby products - and got the boot in as much as I could about dubious marketing/unnecessary products

I once got £5 for trying 3 new milkshakes and giving my opinion on which one I liked the most that was great.
Dp got stopped once when with his friend and they gave the both £20 to watch a film made by a local director and give feedback!! He said the film was really good aswell.
