DS2 has always posseted a bit of milk after each feed, but he's 3mths now and its getting worse. Every feed he is sick afterwards and its quite a lot too - enough to warrant us both to need a change of clothing!

I did read somewhere on here where someone eliminated dairy from their diet (but can't find the thread) Does anyone have any experience with eliminating certain foods and does it work???

DS1 was never sick after his feeds so I'm kind of needing a bit of advice???

Red head hope you are getting on OK.

The screaming does sound like my DS was sometimes so it possibly is an allergy.

Most children grow out of dairy allergies by the time they are 3 so hopefully if it is that it'll only be temporary.

Well, dairy was eliminated and seemed to be better, but I had also run out of Orange juice at the same time, then had a large glass of OJ and after his feed was really sick again - seems to be only with OJ (which I was drinking every day) I'm now back on Dairy (Oh heaven - I didn't like that rice milk much - ugh!) but cut out orange juice instead and He isn't being sick anymore! Why I didn't think of it sooner I have no idea! maybe it was making my milk slightly acidic??? who knows??? But for now at least I'm not covered in puke!!! (and I have yesterday's top on and it's still clean!!! shhh!!!) meh! less washing!

THANKS EVERYONE!

My son would possit after every feed and between feeds from birth until about 9 months.

In the early days it meant a change of clothes for both of us at times. When he started eating solids and crawling, he'd leave little orange patches all over the carpet.

I took him to the doctor several time but they couldn't find any cause other than that he was greedy and didn't know when to stop eating so would literally overflow. He put on 50% of his birth weight in the first 6 weeks despite the vomiting.

He just grew out of it and has no food intolerances now. He eats anything

Oh that's great news redhead, esp as orange juice is sooooo much easier to eliminate than dairy. Hurrah!
