DS is just about to turn one and I am thinking of moving him onto cows milk - do i just swap one of his bottles to straight cows milk or do i need to do it gradually? Do they take the same amount so 200mls as they would do formula?

does he have cows milk in anything yet? cereal etc. if yes i think its ok to move straight on.

But if he hasn;t had any cows milk as yet do it gradually..

I done one bottle of forumla and one bottle of cows milk a day (normal amounts) until the forumla run out. She had been having cows milk in weetabix for 6 months anyway.

I swapped one bottle a day started with afternoon one then increased as the formula ran out.

Sorry yes dd1 drank the same amount of cows milk as formula. DD2 drinks more cows milk the formula as she wouldn't drink any formula milk.

Thanks - I will try it today. he has been having cows milk in his porridge etc for a while. Do you just use full fat cows milk?
