I know its been asked before - I tried searching but got way too much info to wade through - its a quick one, how long do I wait for af before I start to worry?

the history is when ttc ds1 no periods and was referred to infertility clinic but investigations not finished when told I was pg, then one af/spotting before ds2 conceived....

Hello insywinsy

hopefully you have had your period now but I was like you, I didn't get it for over a year while bf (even when I was just doing once a day, I didn't get one). It came along 2-3 weeks after I'd done the last bf though - and has so far lasted 19 days and counting!! (just been to the doctor who says to wait it out another week - fun!)

Hi insy, just wanted to reassure you - it took me a year to get mine after stopping breastfeeding ds1 (and even then it was brought on by cranial osteopath - have you tried that?).

And now I'm in exactly same situation with ds2, still no sign after stopping feeding 3 months ago. I think some people just take much longer to get back in sync.

I would highly recommend cranial osteo or similar, it seems to kick start the process and remind body what to do. I sympathise a lot - its so annoying being stuck in weird hormonal limbo.

Good luck, hope its all worked out by now anyway.
