Breastmilk in fridge - how long?

Title says it all really. I'd thought it would keep for a few days, but just noticed that in NHS book it says 24 hours. How long do you all keep it for in the fridge?

Great thanks, a lot better than 24 hours!

I have had both of these answers, 24hr and 8 days. Did read something that made me think - taste your milk and get to know what its like, then before giving make sure you taste again to check its ok.

It's 8 days. But after 5/6 days just make sure you give the milk a good sniff and sometimes it seems to go a bit off.
