Well so far so good.
He went to sleep straight away on Sunday night, but that was to be expected he was absolutely shattered. He woke up at 1 am and was upset but finally calmed down again only to wake again at 4 am !!! I very nearly gave in at that point.
As you suggested whisked him up the moment he woke and fed him porridge and all seemed to be OK.
He's used to not having anything through the day,so that was OK. But when he's tired he starts grabbing and pulling at my clothes so I was expecting this to happen in the evening... but surprise ... he didnt !
Last night was a bit hit and miss again. He went off easily enough but then woke at 4 am. Again, I nearly gave in, but managed not too. I think we are nearly there
The worst thing about it is the engorgement. Its really really painfull. I'm absolutely amazed at how much milk I must have been producing. I had to express a tiny bit off yesterday as I just couldnt move one side. Today is a bit better, but still very full. I'm sat here with a cup of sage tea and cabbage in my bra in the vain hope this might slow down the milk production.
I guess it will be OK in a couple more days, but I'll be sorry to see my plump norks go
I think I'm almost there. I'm a bit sad.. but its just the end of one stage and the start of the next.
