weather and feeding

can anyone help! my baby is 11 weeks old and during the last 2 days is fighting to go to the breast even though he is v hungry. he will take exxpressed milk from a bottle. can this be related to the hot weather

It could be. It must be quite hot that close in to Mum's body. DS has been quite sleepy in the heat, and I've been concerned over him sleeping when he should be eating, so I'll be interested to see any replies.

have you tried feeding lying down?
ds feeds much more happily when I have him lying on the bed because it's a bit cooler I think, and I can make sure I am a bit away from him rather than being cuddled up together
