Nuk teats and Avent bottles

Can anyone help me out here?
DS2 is having problems getting milk out of the Avent teats and someone has recommended Nuk teats as he does not open his mouth very wide. Do Nuk teats fit onto Avent bottles (I wanted to avoid buying a whole new bottle and teat set)?
Or can you recommend another teat type for babies with problems opening their mouths wide?

Thanks

They do - we used them together - although if you carry the bottles around they may leak a tiny bit. The brown (latex) ones are worse for this than the clear (silicone) ones. Also I could only ever find the NUK teats on the internet - in the shops they always seemed to come as a set with bottle.
We found NUK teats great - however, the ones we used which fit Avent bottles are still quite wide - they're just different shape - sucking is more like breastfeeding. There are 'thin' Nuk teats, but not sure if they'd fit Avent bottles!
HTH!

I found with my DS1 that tesco own my baby brand silcon teats were better than avent because they were softer more flexible. They are also a third of the price.

Hi,

Not the exact answer you are looking for, but may be useful to know.

MAM teats fit the Avent bottles. (also fit into Dr Browns)

Working as a Maternity nurse I generally recommend to all my breastfeeding clients / families who are including a bottle feed (of EBM or F) to use Mam teats.

Hope this may be helpful.

Hi, thanks, are MAM teats orthodontic teats?
