Right oh wise mumsnetters can I please have some advice as to whether my LO is doing ok.

Isaac is 7 days old, has been exclusively BF have had no problems with latch or anything like that...

BUT at night at least one of his feeds seems to take at least 2 -3 hours. He fusses, sucks in front of the nipple, pulls himself off, falls asleep.

This stresses me, and I get confused as to which breast I should be offering him. I do change him between each side as this seems to wake him up and let him take the other side properly.

He will have 5 mins from one side then fall asleep, he will then wake up when I put him down and I will offer him the same side and this is repeated for at least 90 mins if not longer.

I know he is very little but I am not sure if this is normal, I have asked my mum and she can't remember if we were like this and the MW says anything is normal (!)

Is this normal, does anyone have any tips I can try to get this feed to be a bit shorter?

And now for my Boast -

Not only has my georgeous little man put on 3oz in his first week, I also bf him successfully in public yesterday @ 6 days old!!!!

Yay for the boast

This is normal - it won't last - you don't need to stress about which breast to offer as it will all work out ok over the day. He is only little as you say - trying to 'engineer' the length of his feeds is not a good move at the moment. Of course you need the chance to rest and sleep at other times
