Vinegar tits, Gentian Violet or knit my own live yoghurt? Which is best to treat thrush?

Or do I just opt for a prescriptive medicine? Baby has been given prescription but I haven't.

I've not had this before, it certainly explains the unbearable nipple pain. And I'm rather pissed off that a pro-b/f midwife, a b/f counsellor & my HV failed to notice.

if gel, then stick it on your norks too

i found daktarin gel best for mild cases as you dont need to rub it off as it is what the baby uses.....aslo found it best on baby - better than trying to get drops in him

Is that you popsycal?! Not running yet, combination of boobs hurting too much and not wanting to be left with an 'overhanging' tummy from getting muscles fit before the skin has recovered!

DS2 has drops. I might go back and ask for the gel.

Grapefruit seed extract is mean tto be the business. The Gentian Violet apparently turns everything,including your baby,blue.
