Advice need on missing period and breastfeeding....

I am still bf my 11month old, 2months ago I had a very light and short period (which is not normal for me).

And I have not had one scence then... I am puzzled as I am pretty sure I'm not pregnant so not sure what else it could be.

Any ideas??

periods always a bit funny when they first come back IME.

I had my first one exactly 9 m after DS3 was born but they were a bit irregular for a while. It may be that you had your first period 9m after birth and the net one just hasn;t happened yet.

It's probably just the bfing. If you're still doing it quite frequently your hormones will still be all over the place and not up to giving you a regular cycle. I had a similar thing - on/off spotting from about 10mo but nothing that developed into a proper period. They eventually returned at 14mo when the feeds reduced to 2-3 a day.

well I am still bf way toooo often, I am happy to be without my period but just wanted to make sure its normal...

I was still feeding at least 6 times a day, often more depending on how many times he woke at night!

me to its very hard work, I hoping he will get better with solids soon but I might just have to refuse to breast feed during the day if it does not happen natrually soon...
