I have been prescribed Zindaclin 1% gel for a condition on my feet and am just wondering if anyone has used this while breastfeeding?
it is a clindamycin topical gel, which clindamycin I have been told is safe while breastfeeding (especially since it’s topical), however the medication leaflet and pharmacist both say absolutely do not breastfeed whilst using it. The doctor and the breastfeeding network and Drugs helpline have said that I can use it but because I’ve got conflicting information I’m not sure whether to use it or not. Just wondering if anyone has used it without issues whilst breastfeeding? LO is 13 months for context.
