In France - what is Cow and Gate Premium milk called?

Asking on behalf of a friend who is going to France tomorrow.

Her baby normally has Cow and Gate Premium milk. Is this available in France, and what is it known as?

Thank you.

The parent company for Cow and Gate is Nutricia and according to the C&G helpline you ought to be able to get the Nutricia formulas abroad. However, they're not the same as the formulas over here.

Is there a reason why she isn't just taking it with her? That has to be easier than trying to find the right one over there.

Not sure. She took it with her when we went to Spain at Easter. I guess she must have a reason.

The C&G care line is currently closed.

I'll let her know about Nutricia though, thanks.

TBH, they're not very helpful! All they told me when I rang was that the company was known as Nutricia and that's what the formulas would be branded as.

Apparently continental formula is a different make up than here (one is whey based, the other is something else (curds ? {grin]) so you're better off taking it yourself in case it doens't agree with the baby.
