soft cup nursing bras...

I want to order a couple of soft cup bras to see me through the early days, but I have no idea what to order! I was going to go for a couple of bravado ones, but I'm a small 36 (really a large 34) DD at the moment (30 weeks), so would need to go for the ultimate boulder holder one, and it's just so hideous! Not planning on getting measured and ordering for several weeks yet, but am tragically anally organised, so already thinking about it.

Are there any relatively supportive soft cup nursing bras that won't put my breasts in the vicinity of my waist and will still look faintly human, or should I resign myself to a bravado sling?

the new seamless ones they do are not that hideous, sort of sports bra-ish, but not sure what size they go up to... they are also good cos the stretch covers changing cup size.

Also, more importantly, they are soooooooo comfortable. I got my first one towards the end of my pg and was so incredibly happy to have comfortable boobs I nearly kissed the lady in the shop, and phoned my mum from sheer excitement as I left!!! Don't underestimate the comfort side (and I've always been a very very glam undies lady before pg!!!) Am still wearing them now.

You could try hot milk for more sexy numbers, there are some on fig leaves and i think blooming marvellous have some too. I ordered one, but wrong size and didn't look quite as fab as in their pics... they are pretty tho.

A specialist from the NCT will come to the house and measure you properly so you can order from the internet when your milk comes through.

At the moment, I have just ordered a plain white one from e-bay to see me through the first couple of days.

The hotmilk ones etc look v pretty, but am saving myself until my size is a bit clearer for pretty things!

NCT people scare me, but I suppose I could brave a bra measuring lady. Was sort of hoping to avoid all of that until after the birth though, and get a couple of bras to last for the initial period. Maybe I should make friends with ebay again!
Anyone else got any thoughts?

hopefully - the first bras i was talking about are bravado, specifically their new-ish seamless ones. the good thing about them (apart from being really comfortable when your boobs are not) is that they cover more than one cup size so you have a bit of 'give' if your measurements change.

they are really fab. god i sound like i work for bravado. never thought i could get so excited about bras when they are not aimed at seduction!

A vote for hotmilk. I just got one in 32E - previously been wearing a 36D (badly measured before, plus I now have lots of milk). I went into a small underwear shop and got measured properly. It is sooooo fab - so much better than anything else; M&S, Elle McPhearson etc. Better quality, more comfortable, easy to unclip and clip up with one hand. Buy one as soon as you think they've stopped growing. You will not regret it. Look on their website for their retailers who may be able to size you properly.
