BF is suddenly a struggle

Thought I had got the hang of breast feeding (no such luck!!) after 8 weeks. Now Dd feeds for about 5 mins and then struggles and moans and screams as if she has horrible windy pains. So I wind her and she burps or sometimes farts but then as soon as she is back on the breast it all starts again. This means she isn't getting full and is constantly hungry.

Help - don't know what to do but am knackered and now have a blocked duct due to the constant punching of my breast while she feeds.

could be growth spurt? could be slow let down. Someone will know on here. BF is not always straight forward and those early weeks can be always changing, but persevere, its worth it and it will rectify . Any BF workshops near you. Your HV should know. They are great

MIght be worth ringing a breastfeeding counsellor. Numbers are here.
There is normally a growth spurt around 8 weeks.
Sympathies on the block duct, best way to clear it is to keep feeding on that side, and massage the duct towards the nipple. Hot flannels will help too.

Yes, have also been combing the boob with an afro comb (v. strange but has worked in the past!!). I'm also thinking maybe reflux
