Cystitis whilst breastfeeding

All the medicine sachets say not to use whilst breastfeeding. I can’t try to book with a doctor until 8am tomorrow and I’m in really discomfort. Has anybody been given any doctor advice about how to manage cystitis symptoms whilst breastfeeding? My LO will take a bottle with formula so I can temporarily take him off the boob and pump and dump if needed for a day or two.

Drink lots of water and reduce potential bladder irritants in diet. Urethral /vaginal /vulval irritation when breastfeeding can also be caused by suppressed estrogen levels. If the case low dose topical estrogen can help.
