Baby sleep misery

Mum to a 5 week old. He’s recently started going 3 hours between the start of feeds overnight, but the problem is that he feeds for maybe 15 mins but it then takes me 1.5 hours to get him back to sleep in his bassinet (changing, spitting up, resettling, failed transfers etc). So the 3 hour window is basically taken up and I maybe get 1 hour of sleep max before he wakes again.
It is killing me. Is this normal? How long will this go on?! Any advice?! Finding myself getting really frustrated as I’m so tired and watching the clock go down as the 3 hours ticks away.

Yes, very normal. I just checked back on my app, my babys sleep started to improve around 8-10 weeks old. (Shes now 11 months). By no means perfect but much better than the first few weeks.

You're in the trenches just now, it does get better. Hang in there.

Totally normal. The only thing that got me through it was safe bed sharing as mine would only go 1.5 hours between feeds but each one took over an hour with the faffing.
