Feeding advice needed

Feeding advice needed please 🙏🏻

My 5 week old has started to struggle with feeding.

He becomes very squirmy whist on the bottle then after a while starts to cry (even after burping). It takes a long time to get a full feed in to him as after each portion he has he cries and then often falls asleep then wakes up again for another go.

He does sometimes cough and often has hiccups.
He burps well so I don’t think it’s trapped wind. He doesn’t vomit much at all either and is gaining weight well.

We’ve already tried changing his formula once (Kendamil to Hipp) which hasn’t helped.

Can anyone suggest what might be the matter? Thanks

It’s likely just wind. Are you doing the bicycle legs with him to help him with his wind? Also any baby massage techniques would help.
Persoanlly I wouldn’t rush changing formula, Kendamil
is great option, changing can cause even more upset, so stick with Hipp now that you’ve changed once.
how are you making the bottle, is it full of bubbles? if so let it settle first before giving it.

I always always recommend going to a sacral cranial specialist that is reputable for working on babies. They have magic hands.
