Hormonal swings while bf a toddler

Ds is 18 mo and bf 3-4 times a day. I haven't had a period yet, but for the last 2 weeks I've had quite extreme hormonal type symptoms: really sore, swollen breasts, a few spots (first in years), moody, nausea, etc.

Could this be my periods returning? Anyone else had pms lasting for weeks? I never had pms pre-ds, but I'm guessing this is what it feels like.

Has he dropped a feed recently? I get a PMT-like thing every time a feed is dropped. Though normally only lasts up to a week...

No, he's been on this rhythm for a few months now...

No, I tested and it's negative (tested a week ago and again today).

Could be your periods coming back then (no idea, as mine returned at about 5 mo despite bfing)

Did you have really bad pms before they returned?

well, DS was waking every 2 hours or less for a feed ALL NIGHT so I can't remember much!
