Anyone found babies take less after switching to hypoallergenic formula?

Has anyone had any experience of switching to a hypoallergenic milk and their baby suddenly taking less mls per feed?

When my son was on Kendamil, despite the side effects, he was taking 150mls each feed (every 4-5 hours). Now he is on Neocate LCP and he is refusing to take the last 30-60mls. We are keeping him topped up as much as possible but he has never wanted less, even when he was crying on his bottles. 😭

Have you tasted the hypoallergenic one? It's usually rank.

I’m not surprised, have you tasted the stuff, it’s vile 😂

Hah, it is vile, I agree! I'm at a loss on how to get him to drink more, though. I've tried adding his Infacol into his bottle but even that isn't cutting it 😥

Vanilla.

Infacol doesn’t make it taste better and makes a good half of babies feel worse.

Vanilla extract used to be the recommended solution, but I don’t know if it’s still advised.
