Breastfeeding and back to work

My baby is 6 months and exclusively breastfeed. He has never took to a bottle but I’m thinking about work looming. I’m due back when he is 8 months old.
any recommendations for bottles? I was thinking just go straight to a cup? He’s been having little bits of water in a cup. Should I confuse the two?

My DD never had a bottle. She used a sippy cup from about four months old - I BF her for a year but she started on solids at four months or so). No need to use a bottle at 8 months if he’s happy with a cup.

He should be fine with a cup at 8 months. He can have other dairy as part of his meals and water to drink so he'll be less reliant on milk as his only source of food and drink.

When I went back to work when ds2 was 6 months he decided to refuse bottles or ebm from a cup but coped fine on water and solids - and fed like a newborn when I got home (and unfortunately for me a couple of times during the night for a couple of months).

We used a cup and it was fine.

My babies were still breastfeeding frequently when I went back to work. They used sippy cup at nursery, with either cows milk or water and breastfed for ages when I collected them each evening (and all night too!).

They seemed to have no problem breastfeeding at home and using a sippy cup at nursery.
