my period has returned today, 8 weeks and 4 days after baby born.

She sleeps 10-7 at night, but during the day i feed her whenever she wants for as long as she wants. She has one 6oz bottle of EBM a week, but i feed her as soon as i get up (its for my lie-in time, lol!)

My friend said i cannot be doing this right. i feel like crying; i thought i was? I am even feedig through thrush to make sure i do this for her.

please reassure me, help or anything? also is this why she has been a little fussy on the breast lately? last few days.

hope you have success it such a painful thing.
You can repeat treatment if necessary but leave a bit of a gap I haven't found guide lines for how long but maybe a couple of weeks. Although you could re treat you. but you might not need to it will probably just fade away. My ds is 15 weeks now and we spent about 10 weeks battling it.

Also be aware that if you have to take anti biotics any time soon the thrush will probably come back and you need to take major doses of probiotics to help try and stop it.

oh I just had another thought. You might want to soak your bras/ vest tops/ washable breast pads anything that is against your nipples in a milton solution to kill the thrush and avoid sources of reinfection. Alternatively you can buy stuff called citricidal from health food shops or online and do a wash with 20 drops of it.. This also kills the thrush. You could just add it to all your clothes washes until you get rid of it.
