How many feeds does a 9 mo have?

Am going to go back to work a bit earlier this time, so ds2 will be 9mo. Ds1 was 11 months and I fed him at the start and end of the day and didn't have to send any milk in. I can't remember how many feeds a 9mo has though - will I need to send milk in?

Don't know if this helps much...but my 8 month old does 4 feedings a day (he's bf). It's kind of like 3 and a 1/2 though as one of them is in the morning before his nap and I pretty much just top him off. I'm assuming he's breastfed? You could just feed him in the morning and at night like you did for your other child...and then send formula etc. with your 9 month old so that they can see how it goes.

At 9months my DD had 3 and a half-ish feed - Morning, bedtime, post-afternoon nap and sometimes mid-morning. It was at this stage she dropped the mid-morning feed for a snack

Yes, we were always at some activity in morning and when my DD saw toddlers snacking mid morning she decided to give up breast for rice cake.
