Kendamil and Being Sick?

My baby is 3.5 months old.
He’s been on Aptamil, and always had extremely soft stools with it, but doctors said he is happy and thriving and not concerned.

With the recalls on Aptamil, it’s been taken off the shelves, so we moved to Kendamil.

He’s been on it 2 weeks ish maybe, his poos have actually instantly improved, now really seedy and slightly firmer.

However, he’s very sicky on it! He drinks it no problems, but he’s being sick after almost every feed. Sometimes it’s only a small amount, sometimes more.

We also moved onto size 2 Mam teats, so I’m unsure if it’s that or the milk.

I’m so conflicted what to do - I like the fact Kendamil is made locally to us and has no palm oil, and his poos are better, but the sick stinks like human vomit and it isn’t nice.

He seems fine in himself, could it be it takes a number of weeks for his stomach to get used to it?

Following with interest.

My son is 6 months and also moved to kendamil from aptamil due to the recalls and lack of availability. Like your baby always had the v soft stools.

My son is weaning and moving about more, so a bit of a different situation but he also has the sick which smells like vomit, sometimes none, sometimes maybe 2 times after a feed. He was spitting up a bit on aptamil too but fortunately it didn't have that smell.

I have read that as kendamil had the whole milk fats is can be a bit heavier supposedly.

It’s hard as his poo’s are so much better! He’s only been sick once today so far 3 feeds he hasn’t so it’s a slight improvement! Although he is also teething as well,
