I'm returning to work and would appreciate advice on which order to switch breastfeeds to formula as I'm a bit confused and having dropped one feed at 10.30am, it has taken me a week and I still have engorged breasts and pain in left boob. I want to do it gradually for both ds and myself .
I'd like to keep the evening feed at 6pm but don't know which order to drop the others.
DS is 5 months old and feeds at these times:
7am (not much though as he still feeds at 4am which I would like to wean him off but don't know how!)
10.30am - as above, ok apart from pain.
2pm
6pm
10.30pm - DS has been on bottle for this feed for a few weeks so no problems
4am - think he needs this for comfort rather than hunger as he doesn't take much. If he does more than 10 mins then he doesn't take much at 7am (5 mins)!
