Can mold affect breastmilk

My husband put a damp towel in our garage that holds lots of storage for us! It has caused some of the bits in there to go moldy (including a car seat which now has to be chucked😭) and it’s things we don’t even look at so am planning to chuck pretty much all of it! However there are a few things I need to go through before chucking and I’m not sure if they have mold on, but is around things that do.
my DS is 4 months and I am breastfeeding… is me going through things covered in molds/breathing it in likely to cause harm while breastfeeding? Like can the mold spores be passed through breastmilk? The garage door will be open to ventilate and I’ll wear gloves, baby won’t be near the mold.
probably a stupid question but if I leave it to husband it’ll take forever to be done so want to check and can’t find much online 😂

No. I lived in a very mouldy house when pregnant/breastfeeding and the baby came to no harm.

Unless the mould is somehow getting into your bloodstream I can’t imagine a mechanism by which it could affect your breast milk.
